Poonam Jhawar, a B-grade music video babe has apparently bagged a role based on corporate lobbyist Nira Radia on screen in a film titled “2G Radia-tion“. The movie, inspired by the Rs 1.76 lakh crore spectrum scam, would be helmed by Alpesh Dixit and Vijay Desai.
Nira Radia and the 2G telecom spectrum matter will now be filmed and Poonam is the lucky girl to get the lead role in the film. “The producers felt my overall personality matches with that of Nira Radia’s. It’s the role of a lifetime for me,” Poonam said.
To Poonam’s credit is a movie called ‘Aanch’ which she produced and she even made a short appearence in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Mohra’.
Poonam has also featured in music videos like “Tauba Tauba Kya Hoga” and ” Kis Kis Ko Batao”. She has also produced a Bollywood movie ‘Aanch’ starring Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal.
