The Dallas Cowboys quarterback wed KDAF-TV anchor Candice Crawford –- who happens to be the sister of Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford — at Arlington Hall Mansion at Lee Park in Dallas, Texas on Saturday evening. This is the first marriage for both Candice, 24, and Tony, who previously dated singers Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson. The newlyweds met and began dating shortly after Romo’s split from Simpson in July 2009, after two years together. Jessica is now engaged to former NFL star Eric Johnson.
The couple tied the knot just after 6:30 PM, surrounded by Cowboy players both past and present, including Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach and Miles Austin, PEOPLE dishes. Wedding planner Todd Fiscus — who also planned the nups for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning — pulled together the couple’s reception, which featured a menu of pizza and short rib and gift bags containing Neiman Marcus gift cards, champagne, assorted gourmet treats, and Kiehl’s beauty products. After partying with nearly 600 guests, the newlyweds made a grand exit in a classic Cadillac.
