Eva Mendes Granted Restraining Order Against Crazy Fan
Eva Mendes has been granted a restraining order by the court against a crazy fan who believed he was in a relationship with the Hollywood star.
The 37-year-old has accused John C Luna of hounding her for three years, reported Contactmusic.
The Hitch star told a judge she has been living in “constant fear” of Luna who allegedly believes he is in a relationship with her and that she is “willing to die for him”.
Mendes also claimed Luna has been harassing her since 2008 and even showed up at her Los Angeles home last year.
In legal documents, she stated, “As a result of Mr Luna’s conduct directed at me including references in a letter that he knows I am willing to die for him, and his showing up at my house on May 31st, 2011, looking for me, I am in constant fear.”
She has now been granted a temporary order, which requires Luna to stay at least 100 yards away from Mendes, her home, her car and workplace.
Mendes also wants the man to pay her legal bills for the amount of USD 8,550 and a further hearing has been set for June 20.
