Elizabeth Hurley will guest star in the upcoming fifth season of Gossip Girl, featuring in multiple episodes.
Series executive producers, Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran, tell Tvline that the 46-year-old British model and actress will play a sexy and smart media mogul, Diana Payne, whose arrival at Upper East Side will change lives of all five lead characters of the series,
"Elizabeth's sense of humor, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her," said the executive duo.
The fifth season headlining Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick will premiere on September 26, 2011.
Filming for the season will begin on July 7, 2011.
