Sanjay Dutt will feature in a small but important role in producer director Jyotin Goel's Pri and Me, headlining Adah Sharma, Dev Goel, Anupam Kher and Juhi Chawla.
Dev, who is Jyotin's son, makes his Bollywood debut with the film.
Sanjay has put his home production Rascals on hold to shoot his role in Pri And Me, as a favor to Jyotin.
Sanjay and Jyotin go way back a long way having worked together in films like Inaam Dus Hazaar (1987), Zahreeley (1990) and Safari (1999).
When Jyotin requested Sanjay to be a part of his film, Sanjay immediately agreed and gave his dates. Sanjay recalls how Jyotin had stood by him during his life's dark hours; Jyotin made Safari with Sanjay when the star faced serious charges under anti-terrorism laws for illegal possession of arms.
Dutt, 51, will play a small but important role in Pri and Me, a romantic comedy about two best friends. Adah plays 'Pri' short for Priyanka in the film.
The film is expected to feature some pretty catchy music, a source close to production unit told Sawfnews.com.
