Lindsay Lohan Denies Missing First Day Of Community Service
Lindsay Lohan has hit back at rumors she was a no-show for her first day of community service on Monday – insisting she isn’t due to start her punishment until next week.
The actress was handed 120 days in jail and 400 hours of community service last month after pleading not guilty to a misdemeanor charge relating to the alleged theft of a necklace back in January. The charge broke the terms of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI charge.
She will begin her sentence at Los Angeles’ Downtown Women’s Center, and internet reports claimed the star had already landed in hot water by failing to arrive for work at the homeless charity on Monday morning.
However, Lohan is adamant the rumors are false, telling GossipCop.com, “I’m not even set to start until next week.”
The Mean Girls actress was scheduled to attend an orientation on Wednesday, but bosses extended an invitation to complete her introduction on Monday evening, according to TMZ.com.
