Lawyers representing Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are working over the weekend to settle out of court the custody dispute over their 23-month-old twin sons.
Sources tell TMZ that Brooke is insisting on the presence of a monitor when the twins visit Charlie, something he agreed to earlier in a verbal settlement, from which Brooke backed out after Charlie revealed it to the media contrary to the terms of the settlement.
Charlie hasn't seen the twins – Bob and Max – since they were removed from his custody by cops on Thursday, March 3 after Brooke obtained a restraining order against Charlie.
So far Charlie's lawyers have not revealed any plans of contesting the custody order. If Charlie and Brooke hammer out a custody settlement, Charlie may have no need to contest the restraining order.
