Vanessa Hiudgens blew kisses at fans, looking stylish in a hot pink dress and fishnet stockings, as she left the Ed Sullivan Theater after her appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday, March 2.
The 22-year-old star's body hugging dress had a cowl neck. Vanessa topped the dress with a black coat.
Her fishnet black stockings, towering golden heels and her new shorter locks styled in luscious loose waves made her overall appearance drool worthy.
Her face had a special glow and lit up with her high wattage smile.
Vanessa's Letterman appearance kicked off her New York City media tour to promote her upcoming film, Beastly, due in theaters on March 4.
Vanessa, who has had her sumptuous tresses cut short, says she doesn't want to hide behind her mane anymore.
"I cut off about a foot of my hair, so it's harder now. With two movies coming out this month, I want to give people the opportunity to truly see me differently. Now I have a new sense of confidence. I don't have a mane to hide behind," Vanessa told USA Today.
Beastly is director Daniel Barnz's contemporary take on 'Beauty and the Beast,' based on Alex Finn's young adult novel of the same name.
Set in Manhattan, the script centers on a rich and handsome 17-year-old (Alex Pettyfer) with a mean streak who is cursed by a date he ditched (Mary Kate Olsen) to turn into everything he hates. Hideously transformed he needs to find true love in order to break the spell.
Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens), his wide-eyed, down-to-earth love interest eventually helps him discover his inner beauty.
