Saturday Night Live funnyman Jason Sudeikis has been tipped to host this year’s MTV Movie Awards, airing lie from Universal City, California this June 5.
Jason has become the ninth SNL castmember to host the summer awards show, known for its unpredictable moments. He follows in the footsteps of SNL comedians like Jimmy Fallon and Andy Samberg, who have hosted the MTV Movie Awards in years past.
“I’m sincerely flattered that the folks from the Mostly Teenage Viewers network have invited me to host this year and I look forward to keeping the streak of flawless and critically-lauded movie award show hosting in 2011 alive,” Sudeikis joked in a statement this morning.
Beginning Tuesday, May 3, fans can cast their votes for winners in unforgettable ategories like Best Scared As Shit Performance, Best Jaw-Dropping Moment, Best Kiss and Best Line from a Movie.
