Sonakshi Sinha will be the first Bollywood guest on dad Shatrughan Sinha hosted Bhojpuri edition of reality game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.
The episode is scheduled to be filmed in the month of May in Kolkata.
"Yes. Sonakshi is going to be on the hot seat. Audiences will finally get to see us together on screen," Shatrughan, 65, told Mid-Day.
"Sonakshi should not expect any easy questions just because she's my daughter. You'll be surprised to know she took the initiative of being on my show. She asked me if she could participate. I happily agreed. She's an intelligent girl. I know she'll conduct herself well," a proud dad added.
The debut episode will feature BJP leader and Sinha's colleague, Yashwant Sinha, on the hot seat.
Shatrughan, who was one of the guests on Salman Khan hosted Dus Ka Dum on Sony, intends to ask Salman to return the favor by appearing on KBC.
He is also very keen to have Amitabh Bachchan sit on the hot seat.
"Having him (Amitabh Bachchan) on my show makes perfect sense. I'll invite him personally. I am sure he will agree. The differences between us is a thing of the past."
Amitabh Bachchan will be back as KBC host on Sony in October as he has a three season deal with the channel and 2011 will be his second year.
Sonakshi, 23, shared her excitement, "It will be great! I love the show. Although I don't speak Bhojpuri I can understand it. It would fun to be quizzed by dad."
