Former ‘Baywatch’ star Pamela Anderson has been sued for USD 22.5 million by her former boyfriend, Laurence Hallier, for allegedly failing to promote the sale of his apartments.
Hallier, who is a property developer, has claimed that the 43-year-old actress was sued for the hefty amount which represented losses from the unsold units at the Panorama Towers in Las Vegas.
Anderson has also been accused of cancelling her meetings connected with the venture, reported Contactmusic.
Hallier’s lawsuit comes after Anderson filed a claim against her ex-boyfriend for not handing over the condominium he promised her for promoting the development.
In her suit, Anderson was entitled to a USD 1 million if she doesn’t get the property, a claim denied by Hallier.
The couple had an on/off affair for some time, before they finally called it quits last year.
The ‘Barb Wire’ star, who has two children, Brandon, 15, and Dylan, 13, from her marriage to ‘Motley Crue’ rocker Tommy Lee, has battled money problems in recent years and moved into a trailer park last year while her home in Malibu, California, was being renovated.
“The boys and me love the trailer park, it’s a special community, we’re happy here.
“It’s the most beautiful place, it’s where I take my motorcycle, my surf board. There are firemen with their children, surfers, all sorts. The children are so happy. I
wouldn’t trade my life with anyone,” said Anderson.
