Salman paid tribute to his real life bodyguard, Shera, at the event by asking him to do the honors of unveiling the film's poster and promo.
The 45-year-old Bollywood star posed for photogs with co-star Kareena Kapoor, Shera, producer and Salman's Brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, film's director Siddique, Aditya Pancholi and his sisters Arpita and Alvira, who is also the co-producer of the film.
Salman and Kareena fondly spoke about Shera.
Salman said that he trusts Shera with his money, family and his women.
"I could trust him with their security. I know he will always keep them safe," he said.
Kareena said Shera has known her since she was ten years old and she is honored that he is launching the promo of her new film.
Asked for his reaction to Shah Rukh Khan's performance at IIFA during which he poked fun at Dabangg, Salman ducked the question saying, "Kareena is very close to Shah Rukh Khan; she will answer that."
Known to be outspoken, Kareena too wisely opted not to respond.
