Kate Moss and rocker Jamie Hince’s upcoming wedding will be an arty affair as the couple have roped in controversial artist Tracey Emin to display her wacky works during their nuptials.
The couple who got engaged last month have reportedly asked Emin, a good friend of theirs to display her art at the reception, a website reported
“Kate has agreed that Tracey will put her unusual artistic stamp all over the wedding, with no holds barred. She’s given her permission to put her artwork up wherever she sees fit,” said a source close to the catwalk beauty.
The British artist who is best known for her controversial installation ‘My Bed’ depicting her own unmade sleeping space surrounded by cigarette butts and empty bottles, has started the preparations for the couple’s big day.
“Tracey has so far been working on sculptures of the happy couple in preparation for the ceremony. She is hoping they could become like a sequel to ‘My Bed’,” said the source.
The 37-year-old supermodel and 42-year-old ‘The Kills’ guitarist had earlier been gifted one of Emin’s pieces, a giant neon heart which flashes red with the word ‘love’ inside, and they had loved it.
“They like it so much they have installed it in the grounds of their Cotswolds home. It’s unlikely Kate will be disappointed with Tracey’s work,” the source added.
