The DA offered Lindsay Lohan a plea deal in her felony theft case during a hearing on Wednesday, February 22.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz made it clear to Lindsay that an plea deal will be an admission of her guilt and will involve jail time.
"You WILL be going to jail, period!" he said.
"I've never met you before the last court appearance... I treat everybody the same. I don't care that you're Lindsay Lohan vs. John Doe or Jane Doe. That doesn't affect me."
Judge Schwartz indicated that he would ask for a psychological evaluation of the troubled actress to determine the most appropriate sentence for her.
He also offered Lindsay some advice: Get a reliable, trustworthy sponsor, not related to her, to help her cope with "whatever stress or issues she has" and keep her away from substance abuse.
Lindsay and her lawyer, Shawn Holley have been given time till March 10 to dwell over the offer.
Lindsay can either return to Judge Schwartz's court with her decision, or take her Grand Theft case for a preliminary hearing to another judge, who will then also rule on her probation violation.
According to TMZ, minutes after leaving the courtroom, Lindsay told a confidant that she will not accept the plea deal.
"I didn't steal," she said.
Lindsay was a little more conservatively dressed for her court appearance today than the last time, when she wore a sexy white dress. This time she wore white pants, low cut black top and black shoes with towering heals.
