It’s hard to imagine brunette bombshell Mila Kunis as a wart-having toad lover, nevertheless, the star — who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her turn in last years Black Swan — has convinced Hollywod casting agents that she’s just the woman to play Evil Witch Theodora in Disney’s Oz: The Great & Powerful.
Kunis will star as Theodora, who starts out as a virtuous witch, alongside her beautiful sister Glinda, but after her advances are spurned, she is convinced to switch sides. To be directed by Sam Raimi of Spider-Man fame, the film will also feature Academy Award-nominated actor James Franco in the male lead.
Producers are eyeing a 2012 release date.
