My Secret Garden Florist in Los Angeles has slapped the Grunge Goddess with a $4,000 lawsuit for arrangements they claim the cash-strapped star ordered in 2009 and never paid for.
Shop owners filed a legal demand for the cash in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday.
The floral suit is just the latest in a string of legal dramas for Courtney. The Hole frontwoman — who claims she was swindled out of her multimillion-dollar fortune is in the early stages of litigation
with American Express. The credit card company claims Love ran up a massive $350,000 tab on her Gold Card and then refused to pay it off, Courtney’s attorney insists that his client has been battling the charges for months because she didn’t spend the money. She’s hired private investigator John J. Nazarian to trace the origins of the fraud, and compile a case for police.
Love is also being sued for slander after she made disparaging remarks about a designer on her Twitter page last summer.
