There’s no more love, peace, and baby wipes being shared between clean freak actor Terrence Howard and his wife of just one year Michelle Ghent. Not only is Terrence’s gig as Deputy District Attorney Jonah “Joe” Dekker on NBC’s ailing crime drama Law & Order: Los Angeles on its last leg, now the star’s third marriage to his second wife (Try to keep up, there will be a quiz on this later…) has gone belly up too.
Ghent, a commercial production employee, cited “irreconcilable differences” when she filed for divorce from Howard on Jan. 27, according to RadarOnline.com. The filing came only one year and one week after the lovebirds tied the knot on Jan. 20, 2010.
Howard, 41, has three children from his previous marriage to Lori McCommas. The couple divorced in 2003 after 14 years, but remarried in 2005….only to divorce again in 2007. (We told you this was confusing.)
For those not in-the-know, Terrence won acclaim for his part in Crash and was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in the gritty 2005 drama Hustle & Flow.
