Jagannadh broke the auspicious coconut and canned the first shot of the film with Sonu Sood. Others at the event include Abhishek Bachchan and Sonal Chauhan. BBUDDAH - hoga terra baap! additionally co-stars Hema Malini, Minnisha Lamba, Prakash Raj and Southern actress Charmi. Amitabh Bachchan plays an aging ex-underworld don who makes a comeback after 30 years to fight a new set of gangsters and takes them out one by one. He will be joining the shoot later on March 23. The DOP is Amol Rathod. The film is scheduled for a mid 2011 release.
