John Mayer’s putting the finishing touches on his Christmas Wish List. We hear the Hollywood hound has added newly-single “Desperate Housewife” Eva Longoria to the rundown of Tinseltowners he’d most like to doink.

According to Australian tabloid The Weekly, Mayer is “desperate” to date Eva, who announced her split from hoopster hubby Tony Parker last month amid a headline-hitting sexting scandal. Friends say the scent of a soon-to-be divorcee is one John can smell a mile away and Eva’s the “It Girl” of the hour.
“There’s something about newly divorced ladies that drives John nuts. He was the same over his ex-partner Jessica Simpson when she left Nick Lachey.”
Meanwhile, Eva may be in the midst of a split with Tony, but the exes sure do like eating together. Two weeks after they were spotted sharing a meal in Los Angeles, Longoria flew to Texas on Wednesday to dine with Parker again. Paps snapped Longoria enjoying BBQ with Tony at Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q, just outside of San Antonio.
