Reese Witherspoon and her beau, Hollywood agent Jim Toth are engaged to be married after dating for almost a year.
The couple quietly began their romance in January shortly after the ‘Vanity Fair’ star split from Jake Gyllenhaal. She went public with the relationship with Toth in March, Us magazine reported.
“They are extremely happy,’ a representative of Witherspoon said.
It has been a season of engagement in Hollywood with Natalie Portman, LeAnn Rimes, Lily Allen, Hugh Hefner, Shania Twain and Ginnifer Goodwin all announcing plans to wed.
Witherspoon, 24, is the latest to announce her plans to wed. It will be a second marriage for the Oscar-winning actress, who has two children — Ava, 10, and 6-year-old Deacon — with ex husband Ryan Phillippe. The pair split in 2008 after seven years of marriage.
Toth, 39, is an agent with the renowned Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and was named as one of the new heads of the company’s motion picture talent department in September.
