After the royal engagement of Prince Williams and Kate Middleton, there’s another royal bride headed for the alter and she is Zara Phillips.
The blonde and bold 29-year-old Zara Phillip, Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest granddaughter got engaged on Monday night when her 32-year-old live-in boyfriend Mike Tindall, a professional rugby player proposed her with a diamond and platinum ring at the couple’s Georgioan-era house in Gloucestershire, England.
The bride-to-be is the youngest child of Princess Anne and ex-husband Captain Mark Phillips, and is 12th in line to the throne. Phillips said in a statement she was “shocked” but “very happy” and the groom said he was “excited about the next stage of our lives together.”
However, the wedding date hasn’t been set but this wedding will undoubtedly be world away from the April 29 extravaganza of Prince William and Middleton.
