Shah Rukh Khan will return to TV as host of the Indian version of ABC's Wipeout that has contestants competing in what is touted as the "world's largest obstacle course"
The show is packed with action and comedy. Shah Rukh Khan agreed to host it partly because his kids watch the ABC series and love it.
According to the Mumbai Mirror, show contestants are set to fly to Argentina to shoot the first season to be based on water-based adventure sports. Shah Rukh is set to film a show promo.
Many of the contestants have earlier featured on Fear Factor and Bigg Boss. The names being bandied include Vindoo, Narayani Shastri, Gaurav Chopra, Claudia, Debina and Karishma Baktiyaar.
Shah Rukh started his career with the 1988 hit TV series Fauji which catapulted him to Bollywood and stardom. He returned to TV as host for Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2007 and Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? In 2007.
