Demi Lovato will not return home by Thanksgiving as reported earlier, but her family will spend the evening with her at the facility where she is currently under treatment.
A source earlier told E! News that Demi is "getting better" and wants to go home for Thanksgiving.
Demi's rep clarified to People that the Disney star will remain at the treatment facility, but her family will "be there to celebrate Thanksgiving with her."
Demi "remains committed first and foremost to her treatment. Demi has made tremendous progress to date, but understands that she has more work to do," the rep added.
In early November, Lovato quit the Jonas Brothers tour and checked into a treatment center for "emotional and physical issues."
