Sushmita Sen launched Shama Sikander's fashion label Saisha and store by the same name looking chic in a ruffled top and skinny jeans on November 27 in Bandra, Mumbai.
She was joined by Jackie Shroff for the ribbon cutting of the store. Sushmita rocked a nude colored tiered ruffle top with long sleeves and dark skinny jeans. Her lustrous shoulder length hair was styled in loose waves with an off center parting. Sushmita, who turned 35 on November 19, was her usual jovial self, making the atmosphere light and friendly. The mother of two gorgeous daughters will be next seen in Anees Bazmee's comedy No Problem. She plays a Police Commissioner's daughter who is married to Anil Kapoor's character. She is so fed up with her husband's demeanor that she develops a split-personality disorder with a rather strange symptom - for 10 minutes every day she turns completely violent and sets out to kill her poor husband. During one such fit, she runs after Anil with a sword, intent on killing him; he desperately fends her off with anything and everything that he can get hold of! Once she is over the fit she is back to her perfectly normal self and becomes the ideal wife who prays that her husband mends his ways! Shama's designs include evening wear dresses and gowns and Indo-western outfits. "Saisha means the princess of life and I feel a woman deserves to be treated like one. She brings life to the planet and dons so many hats in one lifetime," says Shama about her label.
