Jessica Simpson announced on Sunday, November 14, that she is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson.
Simpson, 30, and Johnson, 31 have been dating since May.
Simpson was spotted with a Neil Lane engagement ring from Johnson at Dillard's department store in Kansas City on Saturday as she was promoting her clothing line. The three-stone ring that features a central ruby flanked by two diamonds.
"She was in a really good mood," an eyewitness at the store told People magazine. "She was very friendly and sweet. She signed autographs and seemed to have a great time."
Interestingly, Simpson's former husband, Nick Lachey, announced his engagement to Vanessa Minnillo on November 4. The couple started dating in 2006.
Simpson married Lachey in October 2002. The marriage lasted just over three years.
