Hide Yo’ Husband! LeAnn Rimes is taking break from planning her summer nups to beau Eddie Cibrian to drop in for a guest appearance on the upcoming third season of the Lifetime comedy Drop Dead Diva.
The last time the lass appeared on the small screen she ended up in the middle of a headline-grabbing cheating scandal. It should be interesting to see how long the “I Need You (Your Wife Must Die!)” singer can keep her skirt down this time around.
(Sidenote: In 2009, Rimes and Cibrain, both then married to other people, met and fell in love on the set of their Lifetime Original Movie Northern Lights.)
LeAnn joins talk show diva Wendy Williams and Paula Abdul as high-profile ladies who’ll be guest starring on Diva this summer, according to TV Guide Magazine. Rimes is set to play the estranged bride of a celebrity on trial for a hit-and-run, the trade paper claims.
Drop Dead Diva’s executive producer Josh Berman says it’s a role that’s just perfect for LeAnn.
