Looks like someone’s still having sex after 60! Former Sony Records boss Tommy Mottola and his wife, Latina superstar Thalia, are expecting their second child together. The couple made the announcement in a press statement Thursday.
Mottola, 60, married the “I Want You” singer, a former telenovela actress, in Dec. 2000. They welcomed their first child, daughter Sabrina Sakaë, three years ago. Mottola already has two other children — Michael and Sarah–from a previous marriage.
Earlier this week it was revealed that Simon Cowell is lining Tommy up as a judge on the US version of ‘The X Factor’. The pair met at exclusive Hollywood restaurant Cecconi’s on Tuesday, where they reportedly discussed the possibility of working together on the FOX TV talent show. Mottola — a man Michael Jackson once dubbed “The Devil!” — is widely regarded in the recording industry for signing, developing, and nurturing the careers of some of Sony’s biggest global brands, including Celine Dion, Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey (to whom he was previously wed), Ricky Martin, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, the Dixie Chicks, Jennifer Lopez, and Marc Anthony among others.
