US based Madhuri Dixit, currently in Mumbai to judge dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, has reportedly been reading film scripts and is poised to announce her second Bollywood comeback.
Madhuri earlier made a comeback with Yash Raj Films' 'Aaja Nachle,' but the film bombed at the box office and Mahuri packed her bags and returned to the US.
Madhuri has received tempting offers from Yashraj Films, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar and UTV. She is on the verge of signing one of these.
"She has got 4-5 very good offers," Madhuri's long-time business managers Rakesh Nath tells Bollywood Hungama. "She will definitely do another film soon."
"But this time we have to be very careful. I've worked with other actresses. But Madhuriji is Madhuriji," Rakesh Nath adds, possibly alluding to the limited vision with which Aaja Nachle was made.
In the midst of plotting her comeback and filming Jhalak Dikhla Jaa episodes, Madhuri has been raising her profile with endorsement deals, not to mention making bank.
She filmed a commercial last week for a Hindustan Lever product for which she was paid an "unheard-price," reports Bollywood Hungama. Three other endorsement deals are in the works, which will keep her busy through the next month.
Madhuri admits to being in a happy place.
"I'm having a ball. I am so glad people have liked me on 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa'. I am enjoying this busy phase before the camera."
