Band Baaja Baaraat co-stars Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh dressed in character and performed on stage during the sangeet ceremony of the winning couple of the Dream Wedding Contest organized to promote the film. The event was held at Yash Raj Studios on Tuesday, November 16. Mandeep and Manpreet are the lucky winners of the contest; they will have their dream wedding at the studio, organzied and paid for by the filmmakers. Anushka and Ranveer displayed endearing energy and chemistry performing their favorite song Ainvayi Ainvayi from their upcoming film. At the start of the event, Anushka was dressed in slim jeans, red sleeveless embellished kurti and red bow top mojaris; and Ranveer in faded blue jeans, print tee and blue sports jacket. He has a penchant for colorful PT shoes, this time is was funky red and blue! Later, for the Ainvayi Ainvayi song dance sequence, the couple dressed in character. Anushka rocked a colorful ethnic Punjabi attire that superbly complemented her svelte figure - above knee, short sleeve, form revealing embellished silk shirt and stylish red patiala salwar with golden polka dots. She accessorized with embroidered red mojaris and a yellow embellished dupatta. Ranveer wore jeans, blue silk shirt and a flashy jacket, with tousled hair framing his forehead. Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and background dancers added to the festive feel of the event.
