Taylor Swift turned heads in a plunging rhinestone Collette Dinnigan mini dress at the 2010 American Music Awards in LA on November 21.
Gone with her country singer styling were her trademark curls, replaced by straight tresses and blunt bags.
Swift, 20, accessorized with black Jimmy Choo strappy studded heels and Lorraine Schwartz black cocktail ring on her left hand index finger.
The new hair styling gave a new meaning to her signature smoky eye makeup and red lipstick.
Taylor got a big compliment from pal Katy Perry for her hair:
"gurl your hair looked amazeballs!" Katy tweeted after the show. Taylor won the Favorite Female Artist (Country) Award at the event. She performed "Back To December," playing a piano sitting in the open under a night sky, amidst trees decorated with Christmas lights, dressed in super-skinny black pants and a black blazer. In many ways the performance was similar to her performance at the CMA earlier this month, including the snowfall.
