When Ekta met her and talked about the role, Kangana didn’t show much interest because, in Ekta’s words, she (Kangana) was more inclined towards doing a romantic role.
So now Kangana is no longer in the project and Ekta is on the lookout for a new face to step into the breach as the film is set to roll soon. As per the reports, the movie named, Ragini MMS, is going to be a horror film based on the real life incident. Sources revealed that a real life couple approached her with a video tape that showed the girl possessed by something paranormal during their lovemaking session. When Ekta watched the footage of a girl involved in the MMS scandal, she was convinced of making a film on it.
Ekta, excited about the concept, said, “I am super excited about this project. It has none of the conventional horror film trappings, bloodbaths, gore or creaky doors.”
