Gorgeous singer Katy Perry seems to be enjoying the bliss of her married life these days. The “California Gurls” singer appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” where she expressed that she has begun the process of changing her name legally and taking her husband Russell Brand’s name. She said that people already call her “Mrs. Brand”.
“I Kissed A Girl” singer exchanged vows with Russell Brand in a gala ceremony in October and on the show she admitted that she would like to become Katy Brand. In her interview, she told Ellen DeGeneres that when people try to get her attention in an event or a party, they call her Mrs. Brand. On the other hand, she also spoke about Helen Mirren and said that she is jealous of the Academy award-winning actress. Helen Mirren would be seen in the remake of both “The Tempest” and “Arthur” with Russell Brand. The newly wed singer said that her husband Russell Brand is “handful”. While speaking about her spouse, she said that she “handfuls” are fun to be with as they would never provide a dull moment.
Katy Perry also said that she likes when someone else takes her responsibility as there is lot of work in a family. The singer also admitted that in a household, sense of humor is necessary as in that way the couple de-stress themselves and share their moments of togetherness with fun and laughter. Katy Perry has recently graced the cover of a reputed American magazine where she is wearing a corset with black leather along with thigh high boots. In the end, when the host asked her who she thinks can replace her, the singer readily answered that it would be Zoe Saldana as she finds her “cool”.
