While Kristen Stewart remains the authority, other stars are becoming aware of Robert Pattinson's consummate kissing skills, including his Bel Ami co-star Christina Ricci.
Bel Ami is a screen adaptation of French author Guy de Maupassant's second novel published in 1885.
Pattinson plays a Parisian soldier-turned-journalist, Georges Duroy, who rose to power from a poor ex-NCO to one of the most successful men in Paris, largely by manipulating a series of powerful, intelligent, and wealthy mistresses.
Christina Ricci, 30, plays a promiscuous young housewife in the film so she had an opportunity to sample Pattinson's smooching talent, even if it was all professional. Appearing on the Rachael Ray Show on Monday, Ricci endorsed Pattinson's kissing skills. "He's a good kisser," she said. "He's a lovely human being also," she added. "He reminded me of my best friend's little brothers growing up. He's just a silly, fun guy; we laughed a lot. He makes fun of himself all the time; he's adorable..." Bel Ami also headlines Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas, but we don't know whether they will have anything to say on Pattinson's wider talents. Besides seeing Pattinson kiss many women, his fans will also get to see him nude in the film, if that too is something fans want to do. Joking about the scenes, Pattinson earlier told MTV news "I think there's a lot of my crack in it."
