Pimp Down! Amy Winehouse has checked into a private hospital in London after falling ill with flu-like symptoms.
The singer is recuperating at the same hospital back where she had breast augmentation surgery nearly two years ago. She was rushed to the same hospital a year later after she was injured in a druken fall, causing damage to one of the implants. But that’s another story.
According to Winehouse’s rep, says Amy checked into the clinic after complaining of felling “a bit ill.” The rep assured that the condition is nothing serious and the singer is expected to make a full recovery very soon.
“It’s nothing serious – she’s just got a virus. And she’s also about to move house.”
Amy’s waged a public war against addiction that’s kept the five-time Grammy winner sidelined from the music scene since the release of her critically-hailed 2006 album, Back to Black. The “Rehab” star, however, has been slowly battling back over the past few months. Amy recently returned from a tour in Brazil, where she was applauded by hundreds of fans, and is reportedly working on a collaboration with “Forget You” star Cee-Lo Green.
