Penelope Cruz and Javier welcome a baby! The Spanish actress gave birth to her first child at LA famous Cedars Sinai hospital on Sunday (Jan.23), reports EL PAIS newspaper. Nor the gender or the name of the baby have been revealed although some tabloids are claiming is boy. The Vicky Cristina Barcelona beauty, 36, and the Jamon Jamon hunky, 43, wed in an ultra secret wedding in the Bahamas last year, and have always kept their personal life out of the public eye… and let’s say they have been very successful in doing so. So we’ll have to wait for upcoming news. In the meantime, Bardem has been nominated for the Oscars as Best Actor for his role Biutiful, receiving the good news when he became a father. Not for nothing it’s said good things come in trees!Congratulations to the lovely couple! I have no doubt this bundle of joy will be nothing shortly than gorgeous, considering his/her sexy parents ;) But why did she give birth in America? I thought they both wanted to deliver the baby in their native Spain.
