Tony Parker Eva Longoria Divorce

The fairytale is over for Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs baller Tony Parker.

On Wednesday, Longoria filed for a petition to divorce Parker in Los Angeles Superior Court amid allegations that the hoopster has been secretly cheating with one of the actress’ friends.

This week, TMZ reported that Parker, 28, had filed papers to end the marriage in Texas on Monday. Eva’s reps quickly put out the word that the report was “100% false.” Rumors began swirling after Eva canceled her appearance at a taping of Anderson Cooper’s CNN Heroes of 2010 television
special. When asked for a reason, her camp remained on lock down and refused to talk. Now PEOPLE snoops say it is Longoria, 35, who decided to end the union after she was “totally and completely blindsided” by reports of Parker’s infidelity.

The accused cad is front page news over at Us Weekly this Wednesday. According to sources there, Eva discovered hundreds of “personal texts” sent between her husband and a mutual friend of the couple. She also learned that this secret correspondence has been going on for nearly a year. When she confronted Tony about it, he confessed all, tipsters tell the tabloid.

“Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal. Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over. Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him. She’s inconsolable.”

After a three year courtship, Longoria and Parker were married in a lavish $1.5 million wedding ceremony in a French castle on July 7, 2007. The marriage is the first for Tony and the second for Eva. She was married to General Hospital star Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004.
