Manoj Tiwari blames Salman-Arbaaz for his eviction from ‘Bigg Boss’
Angry and upset over his eviction from the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, Bhojpuri star Manoj Tiwari has hit back at Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz Khan for ‘scripting’ his eviction from the controversial reality show.
Buzz has it that Manoj is ruing over a tweet of Arbaaz which said, “I would try save Ashmit by sending a SMS,” suggesting that the Salman and Arbaaz, ‘scripted’ his eviction from ‘Bigg Boss’. Apparently, Manoj even told a TV channel that his eviction could a ‘conspiracy’ against Bhojpuri actors.
However, Ashmit’s publicist scoffed at the baseless claims of Manoj Tiwari, stating that – “Mr Tiwari is singling out Arbaaz just because he is unable to digest his defeat opposite Ashmit Patel and probably feels the need to blame someone for it. If Arbaaz tweeted, what’s wrong about it? Doesn’t Arbaaz have his own identity, independent of Salman Khan? Just because he is Salman’s brother, can Manoj Tiwari hold him guilty for tweeting? By doing so, he’s being a petty superstar.”
Interestingly, Manoj has forgotten the fact that Amisha Patel, Karan Johar, Manyata and Sanjay Dutt, Farah Khan, Hrishant Goswami, Ali Merchant, Ishq Bector and a couple of Bollywood stars helped Ashmit to pip the Bhojpuri superstar. It is believed that most of them SMS’d, posted messages on their Blackberry’s, Facebook and Twitter and spread the word-of-mouth.
Besides this, a large chunk of votes came from Gujarat, where a mass SMS campaign called ‘Save Aapno Gujjubhai’ was run by Ashmit’s managing team.
In spite of this, Manoj Tiwari fans burnt effigies of Salman Khan in Patna. Manoj Tiwari Fan Club president Manish Kumar, along with a bunch of followers protested against Tiwari’s eviction, claiming that ‘Bigg Boss’ ‘insulted’ the 26-crore Bhojpuri community.
