Oprah Winfrey and fans set record atop Sydney Harbour
Oprah Winfrey and hundreds of her most loyal fans were seen setting a world record atop the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. The American chat show queen, her best pal Gayle King, the Harpo crew and 302 ‘ultimate viewers’ were shown trekking up 1,200 stairs in their mission during their once-in-a-lifetime trip Down Under. With 316 people standing at the summit, it was the most people ever on the top of the famous structure at any one time and certainly proved to be a big TV moment. Wednesday’s episode showed Part 2 of Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure and saw the group of thrill seekers celebrate their journey with fireworks and enjoy a regatta cruising around the Sydney Opera House. The 56-year-old media mogul, who has enjoyed a royal welcome by Aussies, was also wowed by a big red ‘O’ that was lit up in her honour on the famous bridge during the fireworks party.
