Snooki apologizes to Joy Behar for mocking her in parody video
Snooki and Joy Behar”Jersey Shore” star offered an apology for her scathing parody of the talk show maven.
Appearing on “The Wendy Williams Show” Monday, Snooki explained that the video – in which she pretended to be Behar and made derogatory comments – was intended to be a joke.
“Everyone took it too seriously, so I took the video down,” she said. “We feel bad about it.”
“I’m a big fan of ‘The View’ and Barbara Walters,” Snooki continued, “so, you know, I’m sorry.”
“The View” co-hosts replayed a clip of the apology on Wednesday’s episode, eliciting some awing and applause.
“Well, that’s sweet,” Walters said, before calling the “Jersey Shore” star “cute.”
And Behar’s take?
“I found the apology quite sobering,” she admitted, “although maybe that’s not the right word.”
“Thank you for the apology,” Behar said, adding, “I don’t care if they make fun of me. It’s fine. I enjoyed that sketch that they did… I thought it was very funny.” hammered out their own version of a peace treaty this week when the
