Zsa Zsa Gabor is selling her Hollywood mansion.
After a year that’s brought a barrage of life-threatening health troubles, gangrene, and the amputation of her left leg just last week, the Moulin Rouge icon and her longtime husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt are packing up and moving out of the 8,000 sq ft estate, which boasts a total of 26 rooms, and once belonged to Rock King Elvis Presley.
The hillside Bel Air estate was originally built for the late aviator and industrialist Howard Hughes, but Presley lived in the property decades ago while filming movies in Los Angeles.
Zsa Zsa, 93, purchased the mansion from Elvis’ estate in the 1970s for $600,000. She’s selling it for $28 million.
“We only use two rooms, all the other rooms are locked up. It doesn’t make sense for two people to live in such a big place,” Anhalt said this week.
The couple plans to move to a luxury condominium.
